You have already offset the impacts of the waste epidemic by choosing to purchase an upcycled jar candle. But there are so many ways we can continue this effort!

After you are done burning one of your upcycled jar candles, we highly encourage you to clean and reuse your vessel. If you cannot think of a use for it, consider donating it to a local thrift store, Restore or any other recycling entities.

Beyond this, by being conscious of our consumption/waste and making choices that avoid filling up landfills, we do make a difference. Lots of tiny revolutions together make one BIG one!

Simple Steps For Candle Vessel Cleaning

Step 1 – Freeze: Place jar in freezer a few hours.
Step 2 – Pop: Use a spoon or butter knife to loosen & remove wax chunks.
Step 3 – Hot Water: Pour near-boiling water into jar. Wax floats & hardens. Remove when cool.
Step 4 – Wipe & Wash: Wipe residue with paper towel, then wash with hot soapy water.
Step 5 – Reuse/Recycle: Your jar is ready for upcycling!

⚠ Do not pour wax down the sink.
